No Boundaries International

The most recent chapel session had a special guest speaker, Traci Rogers, from No Boundaries International. No Boundaries International, located in Amarillo, is a Christ-centered organization who states that their mission is to help victims of human trafficking get back on their feet. Rogers spoke of her experiences working with past victims and ways to help victims as an outsider.

“These are people that are right from your schools, right here on campus,” Rogers said. “Maybe it’s someone that you’ve known your whole life, because we do not know what’s happening behind those closed doors.”

No Boundaries International is a trauma informed organization where all the proceeds go right back into the program. Expanding on the spiritual growth aspect of the organization, Rogers mentioned a new path has opened for them.

“I’m excited to tell you that we are just about to open our very first restoration home,” Rogers said. “For those just coming out of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, our home will open Febuary 1st.”

With being centered around religion, No Boundaries does exactly what they are called to do.

“We need to go wherever God needs us to go, without fear, because we know who goes before us,” Rogers said. “To show the love of Christ to everybody that we encounter.”

Rogers then listed everything that No Boundaries does to help victims. From food pantries to donating clothes, this organization helps to guide and grow with victims spiritually and physically.

“We have a food pantry,” Rogers said. “This past year in 2021, we served over 20,000 people in all of our services.”

Besides helping victims, another priority is bringing them to Christ.

“We also have an inner healing department, which is basically ushering them into the presence of God.” Rogers said.

Towards the end of her presentation, Rogers offered several different options for people to action themselves.

“You can volunteer with us. You can bring a team and spend a weekend with us and we can do a special outreach then,” Rogers said. “We have internships to further your walk with Christ, or you can do internships for school.”

You do not have to fit a special criterion to help people. No Boundaries International gives people the chance to uplift another through God.

“These are people just like you and me. There is no difference; they were created for a purpose,” Rogers said. “If you will fearlessly, boldly, courageously follow Jesus, you can change the world. He did it with 12 people, imagine what we can do.”
